After high school, I attended Kansas State Teachers College, Emporia, KS, for 2.5 years. In 1972, my family moved to Tucson, AZ. I completed my education at the University of Arizona in 1974 with a B.A. in English in literature & creative writing. After college, I worked in a number of clerical positions in insurance, healthcare, and law. I completed my teacher's certification in scondary education in 1988 at the University of Arizona and spent 2 years substitute teaching in the Tucson Unified School District and the Indian Oasis Baboquivari School District. In 1990, I entered the Benedictine Sisters of Perpetual Adoration. I have worked in the library, the correspondence department, the publications department, and the business office. I am currently the Treasurer for the congregation, having been appointed in 2001 and reappointed in 2002 and 2008.
